Best alt text format for Shopify product images
A strong default is Product Title - AI Generated; keep it concise and put important words first.

A reliable starting format is Product Title plus AI Generated, joined with the default “ - ” separator so the product name stays visible while AI describes the photo.
You can add Shop Name for brand-heavy catalogs. Avoid stuffing every tag into every image. Aim for readable length (often under ~125 characters) and keep a descriptive/AI component.
